When we chose a name for our computer network consulting company - Sputnik - in 1993 we knew that we would bring our high tech professional experience from the rocket science industry to our clients’ work places. We have a dream  to make all computers tied together in a Global Computer Network.

But what we could not expect was that in two years, in 1995,  we would start to use real Sputniks (Russian name for a space satellite)  in our everyday WWW Internet applications. Now we see how this name matches our business practices and how it represents our wish to allow people to communicate with each other across our small but very beautiful planet.
